Ephémère Black Currant and maple syrup waffle
Ingredients:
Waffle
- 2 ¼ cups of flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of maple syrup
- 3 oz of butter
- 1 small (12 oz.) bottle of Ephémère Blackcurrant
- 2 oz. of sugar
- Salt to taste
Waffle Sauce
- 1 small (12 oz.) bottle of Ephémère Blackcurrant
- 12 oz. of maple syrup
- 2 star anise
- 2 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 peppercorns
Presentation:
Waffle
- Mix all ingredients in the culinary robot and cook in a waffle iron.
Sauce
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan and reduce by half or till desired consistency.
- Glaze the waffle with the sauce. Add some basil leaves and serve with vanilla ice cream.
