A unique fusion of P’tite Maudite beer and maple syrup, transformed into homemade maple taffy on snow. A simple and quick-to-prepare mixture, offering an authentic taste experience from here.

  • ½ cup of P’tite Maudite beer
  • 1 cup of maple syrup
  • Snow

Steps

  1. In a medium saucepan, over medium heat, bring the beer to a boil for two minutes.
  2. Add the maple syrup and mix.
  3. Bring to a boil, making sure to stir regularly to prevent the syrup from overflowing.
  4. Use a high-temperature thermometer to determine when the syrup is ready to be poured. It should reach a temperature of 115°C or 238°F.
  5. Pour the syrup mixture over the snow in lines.
  6. Wait 1 minute for the maple taffy to set, then roll it up using a wooden stick.
